Pearl Embroidery was started in 1983 with a Melco single head machine. It grew from there and we now have several Tajima multi and single-head machines that were purchased to build the business to what it is today. We started screen-printing in 1993. We mainly service wholesalers from the tri-state area, but also do individual pieces of embroidery for those who are wanting personalized items for Christmas, birthdays, graduations, weddings, back to school items such as laundry bags, towels, backpacks, bags, pillowcases, spirit wear, Greek apparel and much more and screen-printing for family reunions and churches. See the gift tab for more ideas.
In the beginning before internet, to get a design made, you had to send it off to be put on a tape that looks like a movie film but with holes. That is where the machine told the needles where to sew. Technology became more advanced and we then moved to a three and a half inch floppy disks to communicate with the machines and send logos off to be digitized that were sent back through the mail. Now, we can use thumb drives with the machines and get designs of logos via email back very quickly.
